Omg i'm so stoned. My tuition kid's late so here i am trying out the Wifi on my phone for the first time. Haha so noob. Anyhoots, the past week sucked.

1. Fever the day before school reopen so basically i missed almost all my lects cos of h1n1's power 7day mc.
2. The day i finally returned to school, i lost my phone. And no, not my lok kok non colour one. So now i've lost all my contacts and all my photos. I curse that asshole's gpa to drop below 2.
3. I missed hockey trainings :(
4. Today had 5hrs of lect back to back. uber zonked. Did stupid stuff like queue up for mae week's free goodie bag. lol.

you know,
i think my dad's pretty awesome.

i know sometimes we cant see eye to eye, but ytd when he came all the way from jurong to tamp aft a long days work (from 6am-9pm, fcuk thats more than twelve hrs) just to pick me from hockey, i realised how much he's aged. last time he was this tough soldier thatll protect me from the big bad world, but now he seems frail with his greying hair. i could tell he wasnt very psyched abt me joining contact sports, esp when inline hockey's much more aggressive, but he kept mum abt it. he just supported me, and told me to get proper guards. he's the one who taught me how to skate. i can still rmb how tight he was holding me so i wouldnt fall. hes motto was always 'prevention was better than cure', so i guess thats why hes always always nagging at me for taking unnecessary risks. and its good to have a medic at home, all my cuts and wounds would always be cared for. when i was young, i thought it was smth all parents are equipped with lol.

the next time somebody tells me my dads cool, id say hes awesome.

geez friggin unlucky today.

1. i overslept cos i slept late last night.
2. it started raining cats and dogs just as i headed out.
3. my shoes got soaked immediately when i started walking towards the bus stop.
4. i missed the bus by 2mins.
5. fcuking taxi drove past and splashed the puddle of water on me as i decided if i should go back to change my shoes. my whole lower half got drenched so i HAD to go back to change.
6. had to cab down cos i was late by then
7. fcuking cab took the longest possible route to go to the zoo
8. $32.70 cab fare
9. everybody else was late, so basically i could have just taken the bus.
10. im the only docent at my station with 3other acjc ppl.
11. it started raining at the zoo.
12. stoned at the booth as there's no kids due to the rain.
13. lunch sucked.
14. the ac girl disappeared.
15. i was stuck with the 2 ac guys.
16. one's tishone jr, im not kidding. (not that thats bad, but)
17. the other reminded me of m.
18. kept drinking water so had to make multiple trips to the toilet which was situated uber far away.
19. tried to save money so i took the bus home. it took 2 hrs.
20. post office lost our threadless order.
21. im frigging shagged and grumpy.
22. still planning shannon's bbq for FRI.
23. stop thinking abt unnecessary stuff.

i hope there's 23 awesome days to come to make up for it.

the walk behind the scenes to the animal hospital was smth you dont get to do everyday. there was this uber cute slow loris that was in rehab with its bulgy eyes looking at you like its under a state of trauma. lol seeing the huge weighing scale and the post morge where all the dead animals are sent to.
did you know that more than 1 animal dies everyday. i just found out. :(

there's a camp over next week with a night walk at the night safari and we'll get to see how the zoo's like at night when there's no guests, and the sunrise from the lake in the morn! im hoping it'll be pretty :D

went back for band the other day.
my dear section's performance.
lets just say it was entertaining.

so anyhoots,
newfound admiration for the participants who took part in the standard chartered wheelie race. i cant imagine myself running 10k, let alone literally pushing myself through it. three cheers for them. :D

i was in charge of trailing the last man, or should i say woman, and she wasnt as strong as the rest of the guys but she still managed to complete her distance. since she aint very fast, so i had time to take in skating along the middle of shenton way without worrying abt cars. the feelings priceless. :))

im quite surprised by the people at the water points and the end point. they were so encouraging, cheering her on and all. never have i experienced being in the midst of all these. its heartwarming to see that even total strangers do care.

ive finally checked out west coast!
its not that fantastic actually, but there's this stretch of road i think would be good to pract my skate skill. shall frequent there more often now hurhur!

so anyhows, seowling says i should update more. lol. sch's getting harder to keep up with! i hate quantum. and ive started skipping lect! hahaha! wasnt planning to actually, but had lab report to finish up, and considering that going for the lect was as good as not going, might as well do smth more productive right? as for my eca, i think im gonna join ice skating. its the slackest ive found so far, only train once a fortnight? ha! lets just take it as time to unwind la. at the same time i can brush up my skate skills. :DD

oh and i had my first SAV appointment last sat! we started at ecp all the way to downtown east! the pace wasnt as fast as the informal night skate but it was still great going up and the the slopes at siglap. i made this new friend and turned out she's my senior in sch! told me abt some overseas attachment she went to, and it sound much better than being stuck doing it in some jurong industrial park here. lol. shall use that as my motivation to study very very hard! hurhur! gpa 4.0 here i came. bty i had my 1st math test, it was only one question. -.-

i think having to plan your own timetable's super! i like 4day week muhahahah. its prolly nth if you ask the arts students, they have 3day week even! grr. not fair!

so sch's the same. now my phy tutor's the lect for the topic, and tried as i might, but i still dont understand the words that are coming out of his mouth! its not that im making fun of him cos he's frm china, but he's accent's just too strong. and he's got this habit of saying that he's right, heh.

oh and ive been appointed a mentor! received this email saying that i had to meet with him. they gave me his info and picture. felt like a blind date with the indian dude. lol. he said its hard to fail in uni. haha! and i believed it when my jc teachers told me that things would be much easier aft jc.

sch's been ultra fast. i dont get why they have to rush. :(
but then again, its uni. i gotta catch up. and it being only the second week, it suck big time. ugh. next four years to go.

so anyhows, still glad to be in sch, friendless and all. lol. but seen many familiar faces alr tho, so many airport guides! and the next thing im hesitant on whether to join band or not. pros and cons. cons is that the pract times are so weird! wed and sat, wth. days that im not alr in sch. then there's this thing abt not being up to standard. i looked at the recruitment list, and gosh, the rest frm top notch bands with more than ten years of exp. fri night skate was superb!
my first time so its pretty scary at first, my legs were wobbling, but it got better later at night. yay.

so the route was frm cathay to clarke quey, tiong bahru, alexander rd, vivo, shenton way (we saw this biker flip off his bike in midst of doing some stunt. damn sick, seeing the whole thing happen right in front of your eyes. shant elaborate.) and the last stop was the underground tunnel of smu! apparently we werent suppose to be down there. cheapthrill, i like. hurhurhur.

had to catch a ride home since we skated way past the time for the last buses. cant wait to get my liscense, then no worries on going back! muhahaha. s course, please me nice to me this time! then xinyi, i can send you home, and we wont have to be stuck in jon's smelly van. lol. ;)

sibf's been fun, considering i've been stuck at ticketing all day long with my two lynns. managed to sneak in for a few performances, and i think the thais where brill. i cant really tell the diff tho; i've got my constant failing in my music oral to prove that. hurhur. but apparently the had really good control over their tone and dynamics which they can beat many local bands hands down. they had like small boys as percussionist, and they're so cute! so small in their uniforms. lol. and their trombone section, omg so zai! i think just one of their trombonist can blow be away alr, imagine they had 8 thai boys!

ok la, local talents aint that bad. went for the syf opening few weeks back. and i think bowen's dm is hot. hahhahaha. i seem to have this fetish for women in uniforms and toned bodies from workouts throwing long pointy sticks. lol, sound wrong. and i meant the mace. hurhur!

so anyhows, listening to the bands made me tingle inside out. really miss playing with band, even if we are of a much lower standard.
